  • Summary: Paylinedata.com is a fairly new company, so they don’t have many complaints. The few complaints they do have center on merchants who didn’t understand merchant accounts and Interchange Plus pricing. Therefore, we promote this business more to the $5,000+ per month in sales small business owner.
  • What’s the Catch? Although Paylinedata.com offers plenty of educational materials online and appear to maintain a superior service department, we want to steer very small businesses under $2,500 per month away from this processor. Paylinedata.com does require equipment, and a little setup, and for merchants under $5,000 not the best pricing. That said, for those above $5,000 the rates are easy to understand, they’re cheap, and there are no hidden agendas.
  • Conclusion

    The list we offer above shows that we’re fond of flat pricing for the very smallest merchants, then but we prefer Interchange Plus for typical small businesses. In general, we prefer this over tiered pricing because the interchange pricing is typically more transparent, and requires less time for the small business owner to monitor. With that said, the difference between the two pricing structures doesn’t amount to much until businesses reach a certain level in sales (usually over $10,000 per month).
